Chris Booth MBBS, LRCP, FRCS

Chris Booth is a leading UK urologist who completed his specialist training in Dublin and at the Institute of Urology in London gaining a national award for his research.

He was appointed as Colchester’s first urologist in 1984. Under his leadership the department gained a national reputation for research, pioneered specialist community urology services and achieved regional Urology Cancer Centre status in 2006.

Chris then left Essex Rivers to pursue national work and locally to bring specialist urological expertise directly to patients from GP surgeries, particularly for men’s disorders, prostate problems and one-stop prostate cancer screening.
